Saping Village from Dulikhel

Overview

We will spend the first night in  our Innate pension in Dhulikhel with nice local food and atmosphere. Then we start our trip the next morning, while we take a local bus to the town of Dolalghat on the Arniko highway (2 hours). In Dolalghat we can stop for a while to get some tea or food, and some strength for the way up. Then we start climbing from here. The path goes up the hills, through corn fields and passing local villages. We can get a good impression of Nepali countryside and get greeted along the way by the friendly people. After 2 hours we come across a small and fresh waterfall, we can stop always along the way and  enjoy the spectacular views or simply rest. Then we climb 1 more hours through pine forests and red earth. We finally get to Saping village on top of the hills where the Uttam and his family give you a warm welcome. Enjoy your time in a little hidden paradise between rice fields. Explore and learn about the real Nepal. You decide if you stay 1 or 2 nights in the village. You will be lodged in the library of the Medaka family school.

Accessing the village with jeep is a possible option, although difficult in rainy season.
